Hi! I'm a recent graduate of Columbia University, where I received a B.S. in computer science with minors in applied math and applied physics. My research interests lie at the intersection of theoretical computer science, quantum computation, and quantum many-body physics. I am particularly fascinated by using computational perspectives to gain insight into physics-motivated questions, whether through the lens of quantum algorithms, cryptography, or complexity theory. At Columbia, I was fortunate to work with Henry Yuen on quantum computing theory.
In my free time I like to read, run, bike, and explore cities, and I aspire to write more. Some of my favorite authors are Italo Calvino, Jorge Luis Borges, and Primo Levi. Competing in Science Olympiad was the best part of my high school experience and in undergrad I started Columbia University Science Olympiad (CUSO), which organizes an annual Science Olympiad invitational for high school students in New York.
